I am now reading Clean Kill, the sequel to Dead Shot, because I loved it. I especially appreciate Coughlin's knowledge of being a sniper. He portrays the lonely existence and anguish of the trade. As I guy I would have loved a bit more fighting, both with swords and magical but book is excellent as it is. I enjoyed this outing, the tenth book in this series and enjoyed seeing all of the regular characters. Watson is at pains to point out is unrepentant and unredeemable and likely to commit more murders if he isn't apprehendedis allowed to go free for the sake of one weeping woman's feelings about what he'd been like as a child. He isn't widely known outside the labor movement, but his friend, Les Leopold, makes it clear how he fought to protect blue-collar workers' rights and interests from early capitalists in the USA.
